Ballet
Sarah Metzler
Sarah Metzler, born in Valparaiso, Indiana, began dancing at the age of six with Indiana Ballet Theatre under director Gloria Tuohy. As a child, Sarah performed in her first full-length ballets, where she fell in love with the stage and theatre. She continued to perform with IBT in many shows such as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Gaite Parisienne. At age 13, she also had the opportunity to travel with IBT to England and France, performing at local venues and Disneyland Paris, and supporting her fellow peers who were completing their ISTD testing.
Sarah has danced professionally with Ballet Theatre of Maryland, Tampa Ballet Theatre, and Brandon Ballet. Currently based in Sarasota, FL, she freelances and teaches in the prestigious Dance: Next Generation program at the Sarasota Ballet School, designed for at-risk children. She is dedicated to providing quality training and life skills to children who may not otherwise have access to dance. Sarah has an immense love for performing and loves to pass down her passion to future generations of dancers.
Joseph Hutto
Joseph Hutto started dancing at age 13 in Augusta, Georgia, studying both commercial dance and formal training at Martinez-Evans Dance Studio and Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School. He earned his BFA in Dance from the University of Georgia, where he trained with professionals such as Carlos Orta, Matt and Emily Kent (Pilobolus), and Elsie Smith (Cirque du Soleil), and performed internationally with Core Concert Dance Company.
He later pursued an MFA at the University of Illinois, where he taught courses in aerial dance, composition, history, hip hop, and dance for camera. His choreography and aerial work have appeared across the U.S. and China. Now based in Augusta, Joseph works as a choreographer, guest resident artist, and freelance educator—and is excited to be working with Indiana Ballet Theatre.
Marcella Ducsay
Marcella Ducsay was accepted into the Hungarian Dance Academy and took part in an exchange program at the Vaganova School in St. Petersburg, Russia. She received a full scholarship to NCSA, toured Germany and Israel, and won first place at the school competition. She holds a BA in Fine Arts and performed demi and soloist roles in her first year with the Hungarian National Ballet.
Marcella danced for seven years with Texas Ballet Theatre under Paul Mejia and Ben Stevenson, performing principal roles in Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Serenade, and more. Choreographer Trey McIntyre created Alice in Wonderland specifically for her. Hungarian National TV aired a documentary on her career, including international tours in Korea, Japan, and Australia.
From 2009–2014, she taught at the Joffrey Academy in the pre-professional and Trainee Division. Since 2014, she has served as Director of Illinois Ballet Academy and is approved by the Balanchine Trust to teach certain variations in the classroom.

Jennifer Ferrigno
Milwaukee Ballet Company
Jennifer Ferrigno enjoyed a distinguished career with Milwaukee Ballet and Alabama Ballet, dancing principal roles in works by George Balanchine, Antony Tudor, Marius Petipa, Agnes de Mille, and others. She performed roles including Kitri in Don Quixote, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker.
Jennifer has taught across the country, including at Samford University, Milwaukee Ballet School’s Summer Intensive, and as Ballet Mistress in Japan. She has directed Encore Performance Company in Alabama and is certified in Cecchetti Grade 1 and 2. She currently serves as Assistant Director at Adagio Ballet and Dance School in the D.C. Metro area.

Margie Cole
The Dance COLEctive
Margi Cole is a choreographer, performer, and educator with a BA from Columbia College Chicago and an MFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is the founder of The Dance COLEctive and has taught at institutions including Northwestern University, Lou Conte Dance Studio, and the Joffrey Academy of Dance.
Her choreography has been commissioned by Alabama Ballet, Beloit College, and more. She has performed with leading choreographers including Ralph Lemon, Joe Goode, and Liz Burritt. Margi has received awards such as the Illinois Arts Council Fellowship, a Chicago Dancemakers Forum grant, and the American Marshall Memorial Fellowship.
She has served on numerous arts panels and was recognized in NewCity’s “Fifty People Who Really Perform in Chicago” and Today’s Chicago Woman’s “100 Women of Inspiration.”
Andrew Amos
Happendance
Andrew Amos is the Assistant Artistic Director for West Michigan Youth Ballet and has performed in Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and spring productions. He holds a BFA in Dance from Stephens College and has danced with Mordine & Co., Indiana Ballet Theatre Northwest, and more.
Andrew has taught at Ada Dance Academy and had choreography featured in RDA and ACDFA festivals nationwide. His students, amateurs, and professionals have performed his works across the country. Andrew brings extensive teaching, choreography, and performance experience to the classroom.


Calin Radulescu
Calin Radulescu began his training at the Romanian National Ballet School under teachers including his mother, Elena Radulescu. He later apprenticed with the Romanian National Ballet and became a principal dancer at age 20.
He has danced with Pfaltz Theater Kaiserslautern, Cincinnati Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, and Grand Rapids Ballet. After returning to Romania, he served as Assistant Artistic Director and Ballet Master at the Romanian National Ballet under Johan Kobborg.
Calin has worked with ballet legends such as Ethan Stiefel, Alina Cojocaru, Stanton Welch, and many more. He holds a Baccalaureate Diploma from the George Enescu School of the Arts and a Professional Dancer Certificate Diploma.
