Company Performance / Choreography
Our Company performance classes strive to cultivate and enhance our students’ dance technique, strength, and flexibility. Through the graceful art of ballet, as well as modern, contemporary, jazz, and tap choreography, we aim to evoke and express emotions through fluid and precise movements.
By immersing themselves in the choreographic process, our dancers hone their dance skills while also developing essential outreach and communication abilities. As a testament to our commitment to collaboration and inclusivity, we often extend invitations for non-company students at the IBT school to join our performers, providing them with numerous opportunities to work with our company dancers.
- Members of the Company are given the distinct privilege of showcasing their talent through captivating choreography throughout the year, both in NW Indiana and Chicagoland. This includes performances during the IBT classical full-length ballets and modern/contemporary dance concerts, as well as IBT events such as the annual Gala and collaborations with area arts, non-profit, and community groups. In addition to dazzling audiences at various venues across NW Indiana, these gifted performers stage an unforgettable annual performance as part of Dance Chicago.
- The Indiana Ballet Theater Company have had the privilege of showcasing their talent on performance tours throughout Europe and Mexico. Their exquisite performances have delighted audiences at esteemed invitationals, as well as at esteemed cultural forums such as the Grand Prix Italia and Youth American Grand Prix.
